Kingdom law requires that every legal SCA group must have a seneschal. The seneschal acts as the representative of the Barony to the Kingdom. The responsibilities of this office include filing quarterly reports to the Kingdom seneschal, chairing the monthly Baronial business/populace meetings, and attending Curia Regis. The seneschal also serves as a point of contact for other individuals and groups, and answers questions from those seeking information about the Barony and its activities. It is important that the seneschal works well with the local officers and populace, seeks to encourage membership and participation in the Barony, and serves as a good representative of the Barony to others.
